Noko’s fave brushes to use in procreate #nkmtARTu

I’ve only had my iPad and used procreate for a month or 2 but I rly love it.

I decided to write down what brushes I’ve been using and show samples of it

Hence the read more cuz this long long…

  • For default procreate brushes I use:

Brush Pen ( under Calligraphy tab)

-For sketching and colouring

Script ( under Calligraphy tab)

-For inking and solid flats

Medium hard and Hard airbrushes (under Airbrushing )

-For colouring

Nikko Rull (under Painting)

-For colouring and texture

  • For free brush downloads via the procreate forums I use:

Tuhis brushes – My default go to!! Good all around brushes (the awesome and ultimate brushes can do it all)

Kopik marker – my fave to sketch with. Can do thin and thick shade by tilting.

MattyB’s brushes -INKD UP, SKETCH QUILLS, HATCHING, AND FLORA sets for effects and BG

Nikko – smaller basic set. Still good.

123Assa – shading and nice texture (I made edited the 005 to blend and it’s rly good for texture)

George VW– pencils and inking (I use the FreeInk and FreeSketch brushes)(Browse his page for his other free brushes)

Jingsketch – basic set (closest to photoshop)

specifically their complete brush set

J N Garrett – pencils

AMB – literally everything (I like the chalk and oil pastel brushes)

Crabfu – rly good pencil for sketchy feel

Perfect pencil – rly good pencil for lining and outlining.

Adobe sketch brush pen – basic use brush (good for lines or colouring)

Abbie Nurse – watercolor brushes

Lastly I have made my own brushes

But due to them being edits of the brushes above I cannot share them.

They’re mostly just diff shapes tho so it’s not that hard to replicate.
